Coordinator – Support Services Job Description

The Security Department at Expo 2020 is mandated to prepare, deliver and ensure that the appropriate security solution is in place at each stage of the programme and into legacy through a guest focused, risk-based approach that sets out to provide best-in-class security.

Coordinator – Support Services Job Opportunity Responsibilities
The purpose of the role of the Coordinator is to support the Support Services team with day-to-day activities including administration and coordination related to Manpower/Workforce Planning, Security Resourcing, and Health and Safety, and Training for the Security Department

Coordinator – Support Services Job Main responsibilities of the role include:
Assist the coordination of daily and weekly work outputs across the Support Services team;
Provide a weekly overview of expected deliverable against both departmental milestones and internally against other departmental RFIs (requests for information);
Address and monitor all tasks through monthly updates to ensure compliance with both MASAR milestones and expected programme budgetary expenditure;
Manage and support the Support Services team’s coordination with other internal security functions teams to enable a greater degree of cooperation;
Assist in the coordination and delivery of administration tasks, including meetings. Training and resourcing, and reporting activities specifically related to Support Services;
Support team members with related programs or projects of other departments and stakeholders, keeping them informed of relevant information;
Attend meetings as required and ensure both preparations and follow on actions are submitted as required;
Support the administration and organization of cross departmental workshops, exercises and initiative.
Coordinator – Support Services Job Skills
2+ years’ experience in a similar role;
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferred;
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small, growing team;
Strong Expert ICT Skills in particular in MS Office, Visio and Project and other information management software;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Demonstrate strong planning and organization skills;
Detail oriented with high attention to quality;
